If your BFF is playing favourtizim, maybe you should find a new one.
I know that's not easy, but the internet has chat lines, and magazines have "pen pal" articles, so maybe you can find a good

Can you talk to him? Ask him whats going
on? Or can you ask him out before the others? Becuz if you ask him, and he says 'yes' then he would be yours.. And if he says
'no' then you knoe he justs wants to be friends and you'll have to accept that... Have you have thought that he could be wanting
friends just for now? Maybe he doesn't want a relationship at this point in time.. Maybe you could be the first one in line
when he does... But for now, just confront him about your feelings...
